The World Poker Tour returned to Live! Casino & Hotel in Maryland this fall for a 21-event, 13-day poker series. The centerpiece of the whole affair is the $1,500,000 guaranteed World Poker Tour Maryland At Live! Casino $3,500 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event. The main event features two starting flights, with Day 1A kicking off on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 12:15 pm local time, with day 1B set to start at the same time on Sunday, Sept. 29.
There will be unlimited re-entries available for players while registration remains open, which will last through the first break on Day 2 (approximately 2:30 p.m. local time on Monday, September 30). Players will begin with 40,000 in chips, with hour-long levels through the first 18 levels, and 90-minute levels until the final table is set. At the final table, levels will revert to an hour in length, with 30-minute levels during heads-up play. The event will utilize the big-blind ante format.
