For the new Holland Casino in Venlo, MVSA Architects designed a spectacular building in the shape of a flower. The building will have an interactive LED-façade, that is being developed by Sorba. The façade is partially made up of sequins, with LED lighting and other parts are covered with perforated cladding. The sequins consist of aluminium rings with a glass or aluminium disc. The interactive LED lighting is installed behind the glass discs. The aluminium disc have a special kameleon coating. Through this coating the discs get a different colours when seen from different angles. The sculptural edges are being made of Alpolic ACM panels and an aluminium brim.
